What are the benefits for applicants and winners?

Applicants

All applicants receive the following:

Winners

How do I apply?
You can submit your application by completing our application form here. 
When is the deadline to submit?
The submission deadline is at 12pm on the 22nd of May 2026.
How much time is needed to complete the application?
Applicants will be invited to answer 40 questions and upload supporting documents. The application takes between 30 minutes and 1 hour to complete.
Which device is best to use to submit the application?

We recommended completing the application form using a desktop or laptop. 

When will I receive my ticket discount code for the EdTechX Summit?
Applicants will receive a 50% discount code upon satisfactory completion of the application
Where and when will the winners be announced?
Winners will be announced at the EdTechX Summit.
Do winners need to be present to collect the trophy?
Yes, winners should be present to collect the award at the EdTechX Summit. Shortlisted finalists will be notified to allow time to make travel arrangements.
What if I need a visa to travel to the UK?

Yes, you can nominate a company using this form if you think it should be considered for an EdTechX Award.

ETX25 Awards sub-categories

Selection Criteria & Judging Process 

Over the past decade, IBIS Capital have applied a framework to assess applicants on a set of qualitative and quantitative criteria to identify a shortlist of candidate winners. IBIS engages a panel of experts to review this shortlist and input their independent opinion prior to establishing each year’s winners. 

Companies will be assessed based on the qualitative and quantitative elements of the application. The selection will be determined on the strength of the application, completeness of the answers and supporting documents provided by candidates to consider the financial position, strength of business model, strategic milestones and overall trajectory of the company. 

Confidentiality & Data Protection 

All information submitted by applicants remains strictly confidential and will be used for the purposes of assessing applications.
