EdTechX is pleased to announce the 2022 EdTechX All Stars Awards, honouring those startups and scale-ups that are shaping the global EdTech industry. The EdTechX All Stars Awards are divided into three categories based on company size, growth, innovation, and efficacy of ESG and impact initiatives - the EdTechX Startup Award, the EdTechX Scale-Up Award and, new for 2022, the EdTechX ESG & Impact Award.

2022 Categories: Startup, Scale-Up and ESG & Impact Awards

  • EdTechX Startup Award, sponsored by Cooley, includes those education and training companies who have shown the most significant innovation and growth over the last year. To be eligible, applicants must have an annual revenue of less than €10M. The EdTechX Startup Award winner and finalists are determined by a global panel of judges by considering a number of factors including: revenue growth, scale, innovation and market impact.

  • EdTechX Scale-Up Awardsponsored by Google Cloud, includes those education and training companies who have shown the most revenue growth momentum over the last 3 years. To be eligible for consideration in the EdTechX Scale-Up category, applicants will have started to trade no earlier than January 2011 and must have an annual revenue above €10M.
  • EdTechX ESG & Impact Award, supported by EdTechX Holdings and IBIS Capital, includes those education and training companies who can demonstrate meaningful ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) policies and impact strategies in education and learning. The category winner and finalists are determined by an ESG & Impact evaluation methodology developed by EdTechX Holdings and IBIS Capital by considering a number of factors including: reach and affordability, quality of education and attainment of skills and employment, efficacy and sustainability, customer privacy and data security, responsible selling and marketing practices, employee engagement, diversity and inclusion, and business ethics and competitive behaviour.

Awards Selection Process & Global Judges

The EdTechX All Stars Awards are determined by our IBIS Capital team and Award Sponsors, evaluating various factors including revenue growth, scale, innovation, market impact and efficacy of ESG and impact initiatives. For each category, the award aims to showcase the top company across geography, segmentation and industry trends.

For each category, the judging panel will evaluate all applications and select a shortlist of the top 5 finalists. A winner will then be selected for each category.

Winners and finalists will be announced at the EdTechX Awards Ceremony during the EdTechX Summit on 23 June 2022 at Tobacco Dock in London.
