In collaboration with a selection of global partners and judges, we were honoured to host the inaugural EdTechX Challenge - a virtual student competition to source the best ideas that can transform the future of learning and work worldwide.

Students were invited to identify key problems in education and submitted ideas, frameworks, products, or proposals to help solve them. We believe that bringing people together for an exchange of ideas— from students to industry leaders, to academics and entrepreneurs— has the power to catalyze innovation and help accelerate the learning industry.

We welcomed students aged 18 and older from all majors/minors or non-traditional education paths from across the globe - who all formed teams and ideated creative solutions to the biggest problems in education.

There are four overarching categories that we requested students use as a framework for submitting their ideas - listed below >

A panel of global judges helped select a group of finalists with a wide-spectrum of professionals to connect, exchange ideas, and collectively drive the industry forward. In addition, all finalists were invited to join our exclusive talent network and have their profiles shared with our partners/sponsors for contracting, internship, or full-time work opportunities.
